The power of vulnerability

Being vulnerable. Most people avoid it. It can feel scary, intimidating and something to be avoided at all costs.

Try this: think about your close friends. What about your relationship qualifies them as ‘close friends?’ Odds are, you and them have shared conversations, experiences or both that builds the bond between you. When someone is vulnerable to you, often times it gives us permission-and desire-to be vulnerable with them. Once we recognize that our existing relationships can be strengthened and new ones built from a vulnerable place, it’s pretty amazing recognizing how powerful vulnerability is.

Try it. Be brave!
